Our Story

EmerText was officially launched in 2024 after years of planning and development. For Oz, the need for effective emergency communication became apparent through years of responding to safety concerns in schools and workplaces as a patrol officer in Chula Vista. Early alerts could have prevented many incidents or reduced the number of potential victims. But his concern also grew from a personal source: as a father of school-aged children, Oz recognized the limitations of current communication systems, even in educational settings. When his daughters returned to work at their alma mater, responsible now for students’ safety, it became clear that the need for immediate, situational communication remained unmet, and EmerText was born.
